Bb or A Clarinet, Violin and Piano - Tango Per Tre Originally written as a solo clarinet work for Leslie Craven, has strong rhythmic interest and interplay between the three instruments. It has a suggestion of smoky sensuality and is evocative of sultry Southern Italian evenings. The balance between the violin and clarinet is crucial whilst the piano provides a driving rhythm throughout. (Additional percussion may be added to underpin the Latin rhythmic ebb and flow in the slower sections)
