First published in the early 1970’s and now fully revised and edited, this collaboration of 18 solo etudes between composer Nathan Kaplan and solo artist/editor Lawrence Sobol prepares students for many of the challenges they will encounter in contemporary music performance. Helpful commentaries precede each piece in the set.
