The cast includes Mary, Joseph, the Angel Gabriel, Innkeeper, Shepherds, Wise Men, Pages, Angels, two Narrators and chorus. The music is for treble voices and is mostly in unison, with occasional optional 2-part writing; the piano accompaniment may be enhanced by simple percussion parts. The vocal score includes a separate vocal part which may be photocopied.
