Uses: Advent

Scripture: Haggai 2:7

Very cleverly done! David G. Shreiner has woven together two Advent favorites: “Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus” and excerpts from “And the Glory ofthe Lord” from Handel's Messiah. Smooth voice leading and a sturdy, supportive accompaniment make this piece sound more difficult than it is. This classic arrangement will make an impressive presentation during theChristmas season. {Words by Charles Wesley (1707-1788); Tune: Hyfrydol by Rowland Hugh Prichard (1831)}
