The relaxed, familiar melody coupled with interesting and accessible parts throughout the ensemble make this one perfect for the "light concert or Latin" segment of your next concert. Consider having your students listen to Copland's "El Salon Mexico" after playing LAREDO. Stephen Bulla's engaging percussion writing combined with authentic harmonies make this one a delight for everyone in the audience. And of course, your band will love to play it!!
