This is a captivating, contemporary even-eighth note ballad in the ECM tradition. Your 1st Alto player can really shine during this tuneful original for advancing groups. The composer highly recommends using the wordless optional vocal part to enhance the sensitivity and warmth of the piece. Ranges and rhythms are very accessible, but the rhythm section's interpretation must be solid and nuanced. This is truly a beautiful work that belongs in every library! A guitar chord chart by Jim Greeson is included in each set.
