Inspired by the music of the great Count Basie Orchestra, this is a perfect vehicle for teaching the swing idiom. It features a riff-based tune, lots of full ensemble work, and blues changes. Sample written solos for all instruments are provided so that anyone can step into the spotlight. Rhythm section parts are notated with chords cued.
