Bal Musette evokes the atmosphere of Paris in the 1930s when the valse musette reigned supreme. The sound of the accordion, which can evoke both melancholy and joy, gives voice to the contrasts of pure nostalgia and great energy that the musette radiates. The seven catchy pieces in this book have been written especially for the accordion and provide a source of playing fun - your own musical interpretation will enhance this. You can play the pieces as a soloist or together with another accordion player (the appendix contains the second part) in order to touch the hearts of the audience with this captivating dance music.
