About
Why some masterpieces which were highly praisedand widely disseminated at the time they werecomposed are today regarded as lost, is not alwayscomprehensible. In the case of the Stabat MaterofCarl Joseph Rodewald, it is certainly not the musical quality. If someone is looking for alternatives totoday’s established Stabat Mater settings here is aspecial musical gem.
