These two trios, out of a total of six, were originally published in two groups of three by Sieber and Andre around 1795/1796. The title of the original edition is "Trois TRIOS Concertants pour Flûte, Clarinette et Basson par F. DEVIENNE 11". They have also been published in an arrangement for flute, violin and cello. A copy of the original edition from the Kungliga Musikaliska Akademiens Bibliotek in Stockholm served as a template.v
