Derived from the orchestral suite Caucasian Sketches, this arrangement cultivates the melodic line while building on the rhythmic structure. Although highly playable, this arrangement will reinforce your teaching of dynamic contrasts. All elements combine to provide the listener with an aural mysticism that feeds the imagination. Great program music for any performance.
