With superb musical skills and a clever wit, Frank Mantooth has a gift for twisting melody, rhythm and harmony to create great charts. Arranged as a bossa nova, here is another winner for the Jazz Band Series. Solos honors go to trumpet, baritone saxophone and trombone with written-out solos provided. As you would guess, the twisted part of this chart is the rhythm where you'll find plenty of triplets, upbeats and frequent use of beat four tied over the bar line. The best of the best! (3:22)
