According to the custom of the time, the two solo voices of these well-crafted compositions can be played on all the melody instruments used in the 18th century. Recommended is a mixed line-up (flute / oboe / bc or flute / violin / bc or oboe / violin / bc). The first solo part allows the execution by an alto recorder. Thus, this sonata proves to be a valuable addition to the trio sonatas literature with alto recorder.
