In addition to Bach’s Christmas Oratorio (CV 31.248), Schütz’s “Historia der freudenreichen Geburt Jesu Christi,” another favorite Christmas work, is available in a critical edition (Urtext in the Stuttgarter Schütz Edition, ed. by Günter Graulich). Likewise, a newly edited vocal score, which is easy to read and with practical page turns, is available. This work is now available in carus music, the choir app!
