Opus de Funk is a hard driving Latin-swing featuring alto and trumpet. Arranger Victor Lopez has tamed this very hip Horace Silver jazz tune for the Jazz Band Series. With a sax soli, a trombone and tenor soli, alto solo, trumpet solo, and bass solo there's plenty of action in this chart. Trumpet range to written G, bone to F. This chart has style! (3:02)
