Keyboard
The Keyboard is a musical instrument played by pressing down a set of keys on a board. Modern keyboards are usually electronic and whilst emulating the sound of the piano, often many different voices can be produced. Used in an extensive range of genres including popular, jazz, rock, funk, and blues music; famous keyboard players include Elton John, Ray Charles, Chick Corea, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, and Rick Wakeman. The keyboard can be heard as a solo instrument in many popular, rock and jazz bands.
