Drum Kit
Most popular in jazz, rock and pop music, the drum kit belongs to the percussion family of instruments. Drum kits consist of a collection of different percussion instruments, including the bass drum, cymbals, snare drum and toms. Often used as the driving force in the rhythm section, drum solos are popular in rock, metal, and jazz performances. Famous drum kit players include Gene Krupa, Elvin Jones, Hal Blaine, Ringo Starr, Ginger Baker and John Bonham.
