Vocal, Choral, & Opera
The well-known Liebeslieder, Op. 52, originally for piano four hands and voices ad libitum, appear here for the first time as a modern Urtext edition for four voices and piano. Brahms made this arrangement himself in November 1874 after the conductor Hermann Levi, who had initially been commissioned, had rejected it.

The legendary saxophonist Michael Brecker kept extensive notes on things to practice over the whole span of his career. This unique and beautifully produced book presents the essence of these notebooks - jam-packed with useful, and often brilliant, musical ideas and over 700 exercises. The Practice Notebooks of Michael Brecker can be used with any treble clef instrument (since he often wrote “Play in all keys!”) and contain explanations of how he actually worked on these ideas from Joey Calderazzo, John Patitucci, Richie Beirach, Steve Khan and Dave Liebman.

Ensemble, Chamber, & Orchestral
These Impromptus are arrangements of the impromptus for piano from Op. 5. The exact date for arranging the piano impromptus for string orchestra is presently not known, but it took place approximately in late 1893 or early 1894.

Set of Parts. Elvis Costello was inspired to create a song sequence for String Quartet and Voice after discovering that a Veronese academic had been replying to letters addressed to 'Juliet Capulet'. The delicate and personal nature of the correspondence inspired a wonderful and poignant set of songs, written, arranged and originally performed by Elvis Costello and the Brodsky Quartet.
