The final instalment of Edition Peters' complete critical edition of Gabriel Fauré’s works for voice and piano is now available for medium low or high voice. Bringing together his last four cycles La Chanson d’Ève; Le Jardin clos; Mirages; and L’Horizon chimérique, this volume represents the major part of Faure's vocal output between 1906 and 1921. Published together for the first time, these late masterpieces form the bedrock of the twentieth-century French song cycle. This is also the first published edition to make the four cycles available to higher voices.

Renowned Fauré scholars Roy Howat and Emily Kilpatrick were responsible for this critical urtext edition. Based on the study of hundreds of manuscript and printed sources, this edition has been tested internationally in masterclasses, workshops, seminars, concerts and recordings, with the participation of professional singers, students, teachers, coaches and specialists.
