Singer Emmalisa Hallander's voice blends seamlessly with Peter's trumpet. Bassist Hans Andersson, drummer Johan Löfcrantz Ramsay, and pianist Lars Jansson form the dynamic, explosive, imaginative, and warmly embracing trio upon which Hallander and Asplund paint their melodies. The music is composed and arranged by Peter Asplund, with lyrics written by Dave Castle and Lotta Asplund. As is always the case with the group ASPIRATION, the expression is romantic, slightly melancholic, and a combination of Scandinavian and American jazz.
