Ontario-born Stephan Moccio has built a career composing global hits for artists including Celine Dion (“A New Day Has Come”), Miley Cyrus (“Wrecking Ball”), and The Weeknd (“Earned It”). Before this success, he honed his craft performing six nights a week as house pianist in the lobby of Toronto’s Four Seasons hotel.

These formative experiences inspire Scenes From A Velvet Room, Moccio’s fourth solo album for Decca Records. Revisiting his early years, the album offers a wistful, nostalgic, and jazz-infused reflection on atmosphere, audience connection, and musical storytelling.
