Eric Escanes is a French/American guitarist based in Miami. Four time Grammy Nominated working with Rhiannon Giddens, Valerie June and Cimafunk.

Eric has played in many different bands and projects over the years. At the moment he is playing and touring with national act Flo Rida and his main project Electric Kif. He has played and recorded with artists such as George Clinton, Jack Splash, Bobby Caldwell, Brazilian Girls, Andy Garcia, Mayday, Robin Thicke, John Newman, Trombone Shorty, Doug Wimbish, Nigel Hall and many more. Eric’s musical influences span from Jimi Hendrix to Scott Henderson, John Scofield and Michael Landau.

His New EP "Slo-Fi" will be released in May 1st 2026. It's an EP built on slow tempos and mood driven melodies. Blending lofi production with ambient guitar and guest vocal performances.
