Music with depth and humour, soulful, wild, fresh, lively and surprising – the quartet of Ulm drummer Christian Krischkowsky and his Berlin teammates Peter Ehwald (sax), Marc Schmolling(p), Roland Fidezius(b) expresses a broad spectrum of feelings.

The drummer’s expressionist compositions and arrangements playfully combine jazz tradition and modernity. Angular swinging influences of Thelonious Monk can be heard as well as contemporary, partly hip hop inspired rhythm structures or idiosyncratically interpreted pop classics e.B. of the Beatles. All with the very own expression of this quartet.
