About

History continues to be written in the present with “Le Temps est parti pour reste”. We find in this new work all the ingredients of “Andy’s touch” and a particular advancement in his permanent quest for effective and direct writing.

A powerful trio, formed for many years by Claude Tchamitchian, Éric Échampard and Andy Emler join with eight clarinetists: Emmanuelle Brunat, Laurent Dehors, Catherine Delaunay, Nicolas Fargeix, Élodie Pasquier, Florent Pujuila, Thomas Savy, and Louis Sclavis.

Faithful to the MegaOctet's operating methods, Andy Emler has designed each piece for each soloist, preparing a fertile ground for free expression. In its architecture, this music could not be without the jubilant return to the energy of rock and the exhilaration of groove.

Echoes of an uncertain time made of chaos and light, flashes and slowness, “Le Temps est parti pour reste” is the work of a composer always questioning his right place and always present to bring together the most brilliant musicians.
