All the musicians here, including Pass himself, were at the time recuperating patients at the Synanon Drug Centre in California, hence the tit. of the album. As a bonus, we have added a complete trio session recorded that same year and featuring Pass in a trio format backed by the great Richard Groove Holmes on organ, and Lawrence Marable on drums.
