This solo piano session by pianist Donald Brown features a mix of standards and his own compositions, many of which have been performed and recorded by a wide variety of top modern jazz players. A fine pianist, composer and educator, Donald Brown replaced James Williams in Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers in 1981.
