A legend in Jamaican music, Desmond Dekker was the islands first outernational star, scoring huge hits in the late 60s with the likes of 007, It Mek and Israelites. This 2CD set boasts all of Desmonds recordings for Stiff between 1980 and 1982, including two albums plus stray B-sides and a brace of exclusive tracks from the rare Hot City 12. This was a successful period for Dekker, who enjoyed renewed popularity on the back of the 2 Tone movement.
