This new creation comes from Pierre Diaz's desire to record the meeting of his saxophone and Trio Zéphyr's strings and women voices (Claire Menguy : cello; Marion Diaques : alto; et Delphine Chomel : violin). In 2007, he suggests to the three musicians an association, mixing their compositions with his own. The color rising from this original meeting is really unique : warm, sweet, joyful, percussive, powerful and lyrical.
The writing and the improvisation, the complicity and the surprise, the listening and the game of glances, make the climax of this new project. A mediterranean music wich in you can feel, between the lines and notes, the history of Spanish Civil War, Pierre Diaz ancestry's past…
