A musical tribute to Didier Lockwood Didier Lockwood was the greatest French jazz violinist for several decades, supported early on by the legendary Stéphane Grappelli, a glorious elder. Didier passed away in February 2018 and his producer, Jean Marie Salhani, wished to pay him a musical tribute worthy of the immense international career of this rare musician and generous human being: ""I worked closely with Didier Lockwood from 1979 and 1995. During this period, we made nearly 20 recordings together and gave more than 1,500 performances throughout the world. I wished to pay tribute to Didier and carry out a work of memory in order to salute the exceptional man, friend and artist that he was.""
