Formed by Aaron Steiner (keys), Michael Naphegy (drums) and Joachim Huber (bass) Killah Tofu's debut album "Do The Pump" consists of ten original compositions, a wild mix of jazz, funk and punk - 'jazzpfunk' as they like to say - "all aim at pushing their audience out of their comfort zone". <p> Unexpected twists and turns meet atmospheric synthesizer sounds in unusual arrangements. Their music is powerful, bold and evocative. True to their motto "music must be interesting and dangerous" the musicians also worked very freely in their studio sessions ('Tentakel' and 'Chicken in the Kitchen') and infused their entire album with their easy-going and open-minded spirit.
