Multi-instrumentalist and composer Gary Husband releases his first recording for Abstract Logix since leading the highly acclaimed 'Force Majeure'. <p>Gary Husband is best known for associations with John McLaughlin, Billy Cobham, Allan Holdsworth, Jack Bruce and Level 42. This all-star group toured the UK in 2004 & 2005 via a Contemporary Music Network / BBC Radio 3 "Jazz on 3" commission and it's a measure of Husband's standing as a musician that he was joined by the likes of Randy Brecker, Jerry Goodman and Jim Beard.</p> <p>After four piano or keyboard based solo offerings "Hotwired" now sees Gary (primarily) back in the drum chair and features seven electrifying jazz originals together with re-workings of standards such as Paul Desmond's "Take 5" and the Level 42 hit "Heaven In My Hands" (which, incidentally, Gary played on as a session drummer back in 1988).
