'Between the Lights' is the debut album from a bright new talent - singer and guitarist Levin. Hailing from Zurich, the 27 year old's multi-layered debut recording also features the beautifully understated vocal talents of Becca Stevens, one of the rising stars of America's folk scene, and pianist Ruslan Sirota who has recorded with jazz bassist Stanley Clarke.
When Levin approached Wolfgang Muthspiel and Material Records, the label was excited to be involved with his project. The recordings took place in Vienna with a classical quintet as well as the aforementioned group members with Muthspiel co-producing (alongside Levin) and contributing a beautiful guitar solo to album opener "Coming Home". Across twelve self-penned songs Levin introduces a sound that is crafted and refined - and eminently memorable.
