Debut album of a love songs by an exciting British artist, who is set to become well know to TV audiences for his part in the BBC2’s series 'Goldie's Band: By Royal Appointment'. Sung in Punjabi, Hindi and English and featuring a Bollywood style arrangement of Bill Wither's “Ain't No Sunshine”. Recorded in Mumbai and London with a live orchestra. UK born Shahid is known in the British Indian and Pakaistani communities as a child prodigy. Posessing a natural talent for being able to perform classical raga renditions, as well as popular songs, Shahid has been likened to a young Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. He recently featured on the Mantra cd featuring Orlando Consort, Jonathan Mayer and Kuljit Bhamra. Shahi is in regular demand as a Bollywood singer as well as a featured artist in the asian dubstep band Engine Earz.
