About
The new recording by the veteran pianist and composer Michael Garrick showcases the quartet he's been playing with since 2001. The programme of mostly originals includes a tribute to John Coltrane, to commemorate Trane's 80th anniversary, and a celebration of late sax legend Joe Harriott that features Martin Hathaway on alto sax. Personnel: Michael Garrick (piano), Martin Hathaway (soprano/alto saxophones), Paul Moylan (bass), Alan Jackson (drums)
