This album is comprised of mainly spoken work plus some songs. It is in fact "A sound portrait of a Celtic bard – the last". Calum Ruadh died on February, 25th 1978. The album is described as "A rather comprehensive analysis of its subject: a singing spokesman of the Hebrides." This is a unique recording from the archives of the School of Scottish Studies - at long last available on CD.
