Two hard-edged albums from Bluesman Muddy Waters, originally recorded for the Chess label. Dating from 1968 and 1969, the albums were directed at a new younger audience for Muddy and his band. Critically, these recordings had a mixed reaction but commercially they were a success, with 'Electric Mud' being Muddy's first US Top 200 album. Digitally remastered and slipcased, and with new notes.
