The highly-regarded German tenor saxophone player Johannes Enders, with his new quartet featuring drummer Howard Curtis, pianist Jean-Paul Brodbeck and bassist Phil Donkin.
Enders 2009 release with Billy Hart ‘Live At Café Dambert’ and his 2012 release ‘Billy Rubin’ (both also on Enja) have both been awarded with the prestigious German “JazzEcho” award. His collaboration with the famous Weilheim group The Notwist and his own EndersRoom project (with Rebekka Bakken) helped to establish a growing reputation among listeners.
