About
Over the past years, Stephan Kurmann has made a name for himself as a jazz bassist and crossover musician far beyond the circle of aficionados of such music. This is due in part to his blending of Afro-Cuban music with modern "serious" music in his crossover projects. His latest project - live together - is a compelling synthesis of jazz, hard bop, e-violins, cello and the Cuban group "Los Muñequitos de Matanzas."
