PI Recordings
PI Recordings is the joint venture of Seth Rosner and Yulun Wang; the New York-based label specialises in avant-garde jazz music. The label is home to artists like Anthony Braxton, Steve Coleman and Vijay Iyer to name a few. The first two albums released on PI were with saxophonist and flautist Henry Threadgill, recorded by Rosner, with the label itself founded as a means to release these recordings.
