Latin Jazz
Latin jazz is a subgenre of jazz music that draws influence from Latin American rhythms. Latin jazz has two main subcategories; Afro-Cuban jazz, based on popular Cuban dance music, and Afro-Brazilian jazz, including samba and bossa nova styles. Latin jazz can often be identified by its use of the 'clave' rhythms.
