Omar Lye-Fook MBE, known mononymously as Omar, is a British vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Known as the father of British neo-soul, he was classically trained in piano, trumpet, and percussion, and achieved early success with his 1990 hit 'There's Nothing Like This'.
