Mary Halvorson (Guitar)
Mary Halvorson is an American guitarist who often works in avant-garde jazz. She initially enrolled in university to study biology, but dropped out after sitting in on one of Anthony Braxton's music classes. Halvorson leads jazz ensembles as well as the group Code Girl, and regularly records her own solo projects.
