Moses Boyd (Drums)
Moses Boyd is a British jazz drummer, composer, record producer, bandleader and radio host. He runs his own label, Exodus Records which he used to self-release his debut solo album Dark Matter in 2020, which earned him a Mercury Prize nomination.

Village of the Sun, 'First Light'

Jazz duo Binker & Moses team up with Simon Ratcliffe of Basement Jaxx for First Light, the first full-length album from their trio project Village of the Sun. Drawing on their mutual love of improvised instrumental music, First Light brings the sounds of classic spiritual jazz in-line with modern sensibilities with fiery performances and Samba-influenced grooves.
