Benjamin Herman
Benjamin Herman (born 1968) is a British-born Dutch alto saxophonist, composer, and leader of the renowned groove-oriented jazz band New Cool Collective. Known for his prolific output, he has released over 50 albums blending jazz with soul, punk, and Latin influences, earning the prestigious Edison Jazz Oeuvre Award in 2024. Alongside his musical career, Herman is a noted radio host, a passionate advocate for fashion, and continues to produce innovative projects such as his recent work with Tokyo-based musicians.
