Acclaimed bass player Christian McBride's 'New Jawn' band, featuring trumpeter Josh Evans, saxophonist/bass clarinetist Marcus Strickland, and drummer Nasheet Waits, return for their sophomore release Prime, with a mix of originals by each band member and tunes by Sonny Rollins and Ornette Coleman.
