The YCL-255S combines state-of-the-art production expertise with high-end Yamaha clarinet features. The result is an outstanding, all-round entry-level instrument that delivers a warm, resonant tone, remarkably similar to that of a wood clarinet.

There are a number of features which make this instrument stand out against similar models on the market. It has a durable ABS resin body with a matte finish that imitates that of a wood clarinet and an adjustable thumb-rest with a neck strap ring that allows for even those with small hands to easily hold the instrument. Its unique bore design, resonance chamber in the bell and a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece add up to give the 255S a superior tone.
