Savarez (Brand)
Savarez began in 1770, arriving from Italy the Savarez family moved to Paris where they manufactured rectified gut strings by hand, and began production of wound strings. The company grew to use silk, steel, bronze and brass, and finally nylon.They were the first to offer three different string tensions.
