Mtier Records is proud to announce the release of composer Samuel Andreyevs original score for Soudain (All of a Sudden), from Oscar-winning director Ryusuke Hamaguchi. The lm was selected as a Palme dOr nominee at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, and its two female leads, Virginie Era and Tao Okamoto (who appear on the cover), shared the Cannes Film Festival Prize for Best Actress. Adapted from Makiko Miyano and Maho Isono's novel You and I The Illness Suddenly Gets Worse, and set in a Paris care home, Soudain is a lm about love and mortality, compassion and hope, living in the moment, and the connections that sustain us. Andreyevs score features only three performers, with Samuel Andreyev himself playing the keyboards alongside longtime collaborators, utist Ayako Okobu and percussionist Olivier Maurel.
