The album Works for Organ documents and brings to life Bernhard Langs engagement with this instrumentwhich dates back to his youthin its most diverse forms. The musical roots lie in his own improvisational practice as part of a band, in his ongoing interest in microtonally composed music, and in his long-standing exploration of loops, a technique that can relate to various musical parameters. Furthermore, the exceptional skills of Langs performers and their artistic interests play a significant role in his own creative process. These works are performed by Wolfgang Kogert, Miroslav Beinhauer, Daisy Press, Sabine Lutzenberger and Wolfram Oettl.
