About
In 2022, the cellist Gautier Capuçon launched his own philanthropic foundation, aimed at supporting talented young artists in the first steps of their career. Heritage is the latest album in the Fondation Gautier Capuçon’s annual recording initiative with Erato, which spotlights laureates of the programme.
This recording features Mirabelle Kajenjeri (violin) and Elias Moncado (piano) performing sonatas by Maurice Ravel (Sonata No. 2 in G Major) and Johannes Brahms (Sonata No. 2 in A Major) alongside shorter works by Claude Debussy, Lili Boulanger, Biktor Kosenko, Manuel Ponce and Franz Waxman.
